เอ็นซีที - 18 ก.ย. 2554 : นักวิ่งกว่า 1,900 ในทุกรุ่นทุกประเภท เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันสมุยไอแลนด์มาราธอน 2011 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่ 2 ชิงเงินรางวัลรวมกว่า 3 ล้านบาท โดยเริ่มปล่อยตัวบริเวณท่าเรือหน้าทอน เคนยากวาดที่หนึ่งมาราธอนโอเวอร์ออลชาย-หญิง นาธาน ไนเบ เวลา 2.24.33 ชม.

NCT - 18 Sep. 2011 : Runners from Kenya, both men and women won the Samui Island Marathon Trophy. The best time for men is 2.24.33. hrs. More than 1900 runners joined the race.

เอ็นซีที - 17 กันยายน 2554 : บัง - ชาย คู่ไอบิสจากหน้าทอน วิ่ง ว่าย พาย ปั่น ได้อันดับ 2 ในรุ่นแอดเวนเจอร์ แพ้แชมป์เก่าแค่ 7 วินาที ในกีฬาผจญภัย ดิ ไอบิส เกาะสมุย โทรฟี่ 2011 (The Ibis Koh Samui Trophy 2011) ส่วนโกชิต - โกกร คู่อายุเกิน 100 ทำเวลาแซงหน้ารุ่นน้องทีมหน้าทอน ได้ที่ 33 โอเวอร์ออล แอ

เอ็นซีที - 14 กันยายน 2554 : ตัวแทนชุมชนหน้าทอนยื่นหนังสือผ่าน พ.ต.อ.สำราญ มาเจริญ ผกก.สภ.เกาะสมุย เพืื่อเรียนผู้บังคับบัญชาทราบ ขอให้สร้างสถานนีตำรวจเกาะสมุยในพื้นที่เดิม ในขณะที่นายอำเภอคุยตัวแทน รับเป็นสิทธิของชุมชนที่จะเคลื่อนไหวเสนอข้อเรียกร้อง

14 Sep. 11 : Representatives of Nathon Community submitted a letter with lists of community's members asked for reconsidering the new Koh Samui police station to be built on the old area at Nathon. Community will arrange a meeting to plan the movement.

เอ็นซีีที - 11 กันยายน 2554 : นายกีรติ สุขปราสาท จากทีม ORBEA ราชนาวี ปราีจีนบุรี คว้าถ้วยรางวัลชนะเลิศ ประเภท A โอเพ่น การแข่งขันจักรยานเสือภูเขา สมุยเมาเท่นไบค์ครั้งที่ 1  พร้อมเงินรางวัล 17,000 บาท ณ สนามบางรักษ์ โดยมีนายรามเนตร ใจกว้าง นายกเทศมนตรีเมืองเกาะสมุยเป็นผู้มอบรางวัล

Kirati Sukprasart won a championship trophy in class A-open and 17,000 baht reward. Ramnate Jaikwang, mayor of Koh Samui Town Municipality was in opening and closing ceremony. Samui MTB XC race 2011 is the first mountain bike race on the island.

เอ็นซีที - 10 กันยายน 2554 : ชาวเสือภูเขาเริ่มทั้งมือสมัครเล่นและขาแรงเอาจริง เริ่มเ้ข้าซ้อมในสนาม ก่อนจะแข่งจริงในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 11 นี้ เิริ่มปล่อยตัวรุ่นแรก 9.00 น. สมัครได้ในวันแข่งได้ที่สนาม

NCT - 10 Sep. 11 : A day to go for MTB XC race on Sunday 11th. Racers from all ages rode in the trailed prepare for the race. Almost 200,000 baht in prizes and awards. Registration on morning of race day.

เอ็นซีที - 5 กันยายน 2554 : นายอภิชัย ใจดี ประธานคณะกรรมการชุมชน หมู่ 5 ต.อ่างทอง เป็นตัวแทนยื่นหนังสือถึง พ.ต.อ.สำราญ มาเจริญ ผู้กำกับสถานีตำรวจภูธรเกาะสมุย ขอให้สร้างสถานนีตำรวจภูธรเกาะสมุยในพื้นที่เดิม

Mr.Apichai Jaidee, the President of Moo5 Community Committee submitted a petition asking for reconstruct Koh Samui police station on the same site.

เอ็นซีที - 3 กันยายน 2554 : หมู่ 3 อ่างทองร่วมกินข้าวห่อที่ถนนสายกลาง คึกคักครึกครื้นกันพอสนุก พร้อมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสาร และรับฟังคำชี้แจงเรื่องราวต่างๆจากผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง

3 September 2011 : Nathon community arranged a Pinto Dinner (pinto = food container) on Sai Klnang road, a dinner which each family bring food and sharing for all.

เอ็นซีที - 2 สิงหาคม 2554 : เทศบาล ตำรวจ ชุมชน ร่วมหารือเพื่อจัดการการจราจรและกำหนดที่จอดรถในหน้าทอน ได้ข้อสรุปตั้งคณะทำงานเพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการจัดการต่อที่ประชุมภายใน 2 อาทิตย์

Tesaban (municipality), police and Nathon Community had a meeting yesterday. The agenda is how to manage traffic and parking lot in Nathon Town.

• Koh Samui Town Municipality is in the stage of making a consensus for upgrading local administrative level to Koh Samui City Municipality. Which is a one level higher. More power and responsibility. However some people complained that it was a quiet consensus, very less in formation.

เอ็นซีที - 16 สิงหาคม 2554 : ชมรมลีลาศเพื่อสุขภาพเกาะสมุย เชิญทุกท่านร่วมเรียนลีลาศเพื่อสุขภาพและกีฬา ทุกวันอังคาร พฤหัสบดี และ อาทิตย์  เวลา 17.30 - 20.30 ณ โรงแรมดำรงค์ทาวน์ หน้าทอน โดยทุกวันอาทิตย์จะมีอาจารย์สอน และวันอาทิตย์ที่ 21 นี้ จะเริ่มจังหวะ ชะชะช่า ไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย
